Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at Hostal Guadiana was a delightful experience. The large, clean room with rustic furniture exceeded my expectations, reflecting the traditional charm of the region. The excellent housekeeping maintained a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hostel, ensuring a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. While the restaurant was only open for lunchtime, I understand it offers exquisite traditional Manchegan cuisine. The proximity to the picturesque lakes and natural parks makes it the perfect place to explore the area's natural beauty and enjoy outdoor activities like snorkeling and hiking. The twin/double room, equipped with air conditioning and a modern bathroom featuring a walk-in shower, provided a relaxing sanctuary after a day of adventure. Despite not being able to sample the restaurant's food, the comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep.Hostal Guadiana offers a tranquil retreat for those looking to unwind and immerse themselves in the stunning surroundings of Lagunas de Ruidera Natural Park. The attentive staff and convenient tour desk further enhance the guest experience, making it an ideal choice for exploring the wonders of the region.
